Tim Whittaker

Tim has experience in a range of photographic disciplines including real estate and architecture, media and press photography, events photography, wine bottle and product photography, family portraiture, wedding photography, and news and stock photography.

Tim is a talented aerial photographer, a craft that has come out of his joint expertise as a photographer and a pilot (holding a private pilots licence for a fixed wing), a paraglider and a photodrone pilot for elevated photography and videography.


Tim has been honoured with a number of national and international awards.

“It’s a buzz to capture things that’ll only ever happen once. Some career highlights for me have been coverage of the 1990 Commonwealth Games; capturing the spectacular Mt. Ruapehu Eruption (now displayed in the National Museum of New Zealand, Te Papa, Wellington); getting up close and personal with celebrities like Sir Paul McCartney and Jamie Oliver.”
